Hello! I'm an Electronics Technician.

I specialize in hardware and low-level programming.

Skills:

  • Languages: C, C++, and learning Zig.
  • Hardware: Circuit design, Soldering, Oscilloscopes.

I'm Apor. 🦊

// info

I’m a 16-year-old currently training to be an electronics technician. When I’m not studying how circuits should work, I’m usually busy breaking and fixing things that probably belonged in a museum or a landfill ten years ago.

// what I Do

I have a deep-seated love for fucking around with old hardware and software. There’s something deeply satisfying about making a piece of "obsolete" tech do something it was never intended to do.

// why

Most of the shit I make is completely useless. I don't build things because there’s a market for them or because they solve a "problem." I build them because:
  1. I thought of it at 2 AM.
  2. I convinced myself it would be a "productive use of time."
  3. I wanted to see if I could.

// interests & identity

  • Furry: I’m a fox. Usually found lurking in the tech side of the fandom.
  • Hardware: Still learning, but usually found yelling at microcontrollers.
  • Software: Writing things either because I'm pissed, or because I feel like others might find it funny (weird)

// current obsession

If you want to talk, trade old parts, or help me with a useless project:

New Site

Before this, the site was just generated with Zine's default template, but I decided that it looked so boring I had to do something about it.
I got the idea to style the site after old Ubuntu, since i love the look of old GNOME.
I chose Ubuntu 10.04LTS Lucid Lynx for no particular reason, other than I saw it first and liked it.
I wrote the site in two days, using teg, CSS, and a few lines of JS just to show the time on the top bar and make windows draggable.
This does mean, that the website content renders and functions perfectly with JS disabled :3.
